NGA Launches Member Resource on Food Safety

NGA announces that food safety expert, Gale Prince, Stericycle ExpertRECALL Food Safety Strategist and founder of Sage Food Safety, LLC, has been retained by NGA to provide expert resources on food safety issues to the Association and its members.

NGA members will receive exclusive access to Gale's expertise, including:

Gale Prince is one of the world's leading food safety experts, with over forty years of experience in developing and implementing food safety programs for organizations such as Jewel and Kroger. Other regulations he has worked on include: Nutrition Labeling Regulations, Food Warehouse Sanitation Guidelines, Sanitary Food Transportation Guidelines, FDA Pasteurized Milk Ordinance, and development of HACCP, USDA Recall Program, and Bioterrorism Act of 2002, FDA Food Modernization Act of 2011.

Gale currently serves as a Food Safety Strategist with Stericycle ExpertRECALL, where he consults clients on issues including crisis management, food safety, traceability, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and food lititagion defense. He is also a Senior Consular on Food Safety for Hill and Knowlton, a worldwide public relations firm and is on the faculty at the University of Minnesota - National Center for Food Protection and Defense - Senior Food Systems Analysis as a subject matter expert on food defense research projects for USDA, FDA and the Department of Homeland Security.
