Residents in Tampa, Florida, now have a Lotte Plaza Market Asian grocery store in their neighborhood.

According to local media reports, the “49,000-sqaure-foot Korean-owned superstore, is the first Asian market of its kind in New Tampa and Wesley Chapel” and opened on Friday.

With a goal to open 50 Lotte Plaza Market locations by 2030, the grocery retailer now boasts 15 brick-and-mortar locations across four states, according to the grocer’s website. The new location at 17605 Bruce B Downs Boulevard in Tampa, Florida, is the second location in the Sunshine State. Lotte Market operates a store in Orlando at 3191 West Colonia Drive.

The grocer also operates stores in New Jersey, Florida, Virginia and Maryland.

The ethnic grocer, which “strives to be the premier source for Asian groceries,” features grocery essentials as well as specialty products made in Korea and other Asian items.
