BJ’s Wholesale Club will open its 24th New Jersey location in Wayne on Friday, the Marlborough, Massachusetts-based club said on Wednesday, bringing the retailer's store count to 234 nationwide.

“We couldn’t be happier to open our doors and begin welcoming members into our brand-new club,” said Frank Griscavage, Wayne's club manager, in a statement. “We’re excited to bring the value and convenience of BJ’s Wholesale Club into the Wayne community.”

Located at 300 Willowbrook Mall, the new club will also have a BJ's Gas location on-site, which will open next month, BJ’s said in a statement.

The new location features grocery essentials including a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies and the retailer’s signature "treasure-hunt experience" for BJ’s members. Curbside pickup, ExpressPay through BJ’s mobile app and same-day delivery will also be available, BJ’s said in a statement.

For a limited time, the club is offering a founding member offer for local shoppers interested in joining the club through Thursday. Local shoppers can sign up for a one-year BJ’s Inner Circle membership for $25. BJ’s said it is also offering local shoppers a one-year BJ’s Perks Rewards membership for $65.

BJ’s Charitable Foundation supports the local community through its Feeding Communities program and said it  contributed to the Boys and Girls Club of Northwestern New Jersey in support of the Wayne branch to aid youth programs.
