The Save A Lot store at #3 Northwood in Bonne Terre, Missouri, announced that renovations at the location have been completed and a grand reopening event will take place on Friday.

Local store operators Brad Juliette and Kenneth Wakefield “and their team’s investment to upgrade the store will have a profound impact on how customers enjoy the Save A Lot experience while continuing to provide unmatched value and quality,” said Tim Schroder, chief sales and marketing officer of Save A Lot, in a statement.

The store has made changes both inside and out, with a lighter, brighter and easier-to-shop footprint, Save A Lot said. During the renovation, the store received new décor, new flooring, lighting, and fresh interior and exterior paint.

“We are thrilled to bring much-needed upgrades to the Bonne Terre Save A Lot store and enhance local residents’ shopping experiences the moment they step foot inside,” said Clint Price, district manager, in a statement.

The updates are part of Save A Lot’s refreshed brand image. There have been 108 remodels done so far this year, said a company spokesperson. New branding and modernization efforts are being planned for additional Save A Lot stores as well, company officials said. For instance, Save A Lot store owners Rod and Angie Taylor will be revealing their location’s full store remodel at 614 E. Downing St. in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on Tuesday.

“The newly minted store provides a modern aesthetic and an easier-to-shop footprint, making it seamless and more enjoyable for customers to shop for grocery essentials and quality fresh meat and produce they’ve come to expect. We can't wait for our Bonne Terre customers to see the upgrades,” said Price.

Bonne Terre’s grand reopening event will begin with a ribbon cutting with the Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce, and then customers can enjoy a petting zoo, giveaways, free brats, hot dogs and potato chips.

“We’re delighted that the Bonne Terre Save A Lot store is continuing to provide its customers with top-notch service and an upgraded shopping experience with the new store remodel,” said Schroder.

Save A Lot was founded in 1977 and has approximately 850 stores in 32 states.
