CHEF'STORE opens 3rd North Carolina store in Greenville

The warehouse retail concept from US Foods now operates 90 stores nationwide.

Broadening its brick-and-mortar footprint as a cash-and-carry businessCHEF’STORE is now open in Greenville, North Carolina, bringing its store count to 90 nationwide.

The Greenville store, located at 915 Greenville Boulevard SW, celebrated its grand-opening event on Saturday with local customers, vendors and community members. With its warehouse-style shopping experience, the new store is open seven days a week with no membership required.

The warehouse retail concept from US Foods now operates three locations in North Carolina. The 20,000-square-foot store joins existing locations in Charlotte and Winston-Salem. The company listed on its website that a new store in Fayetteville, North Carolina, at 511 Cross Creek Mall, is slated to open soon.

Last month, the fast-growing warehouse retail concept from US Foods announced its partnership with RELEX Solutions to bring together the company's forecast and replenishment, space and promotion planning and optimization solutions. 

“We are pleased to be working with RELEX to advance our merchandising planning solutions needs,” said CHEF’STORE President Irfan Badibanga in a statement. “RELEX has a comprehensive platform and deep expertise in retail making them an ideal choice for helping us drive additional operational efficiencies as we focus on providing restauranters, smaller foodservice operators and price-conscious community members the products they need, when they need it.”
