Value retailer Grocery Outlet said its board of directors has elected veteran executives John “Jeb” Bachman and Mary Kay Haber, expanding its board from nine to 11 members.

Bachman was named a Class I director and assumed duties as chairman of the board’s audit and risk committee, effective Nov. 12. Haben, named a class II director, sits on the audit and risk and corporate governance committees, effective Nov. 14.

Bachman is a 26-year veteran of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he most recently was a partner. He serves on several company boards, including apparel retailer The Children’s Place, according to LinkedIn. Haber is a former president of Wrigley Co., where she served from 2007 to 2011, and prior to that, she spent 28 years in the packaged food business with Kraft. Haber also is a board member for the Hershey Co., according to LinkedIn.

Grocery Outlet is a fast-growing discounter based in Emeryville, Calif.
