Kroger has partnered with Tony Packo’s, a popular Hungarian-style hot dog restaurant chain, which will open outlets in two of the retailer’s Toledo, Ohio, locations. After about a year of negotiations, the first outlet will open this year, possibly by Thanksgiving. The second will open by year’s end.

The Tony Packo’s outlets will have a limited menu compared to its restaurants but is considering offering products for grab-and-go. Kroger already offers products produced by Tony’s Packo’s, making the foodservice partnership a natural fit.

Kroger has partnered with other popular restaurants over the years, including barbecue chain Pork & Mindy’s, which operates outlets in Mariano’s stores in the Chicago area. The retailer also recently opened a food hall in Cincinnati that features five restaurants.
