The farm-to-table Harvest Market concept that Niemann Foods introduced in Champaign, Ill., in 2016 will be getting a second location. The second store will replace a current County Market location at 3001 S. Veterans Parkway in Springfield, Ill.

Niemann Foods currently operates five County Markets and one Save-A-Lot in Springfield. The timeline for the new Harvest Market remodel and opening were not disclosed, according to a local news report.

The Harvest Market concept focuses on local producers and made-in-house products. The Champaign location includes an in-house dairy that churns butter on-site. The concept’s design is meant to make the connection between the earth that grows the food and the end product that customers buy.
