Plum Market Kitchen is giving new meaning to meeting shoppers where they are. Its newest location, inside the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Mich., marks the grocer’s first partnership with a cultural destination.

Known for its service-forward approach to food, beverage, wellness essentials and chef-crafted prepared foods, Detroit-based Plum Market Kitchen has 25 locations representing multiple formats throughout Michigan, Illinois and Indiana.

Plum Market Kitchen at The Henry Ford features chef-crafted, prepared foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an emphasis on all-natural, organic and locally sourced ingredients. The menu also accommodates special dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan.

Visitors to Plum Market Kitchen at The Henry Ford will also find a coffee bar featuring Michigan’s own Zingerman’s Coffee; wine and beer offerings hand selected by Plum Market’s Master Sommelier Madeline Triffon; convenient grab-and-go options; and packaged snacks and drinks.

The menu includes Plum Market’s signature collection of recipes along with new dishes developed exclusively for The Henry Ford. Other features include outdoor seating, as well as a separate entrance from the museum to provide the local community with a casual dining destination.

In addition to its full-service grocery stores in Chicago, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Bloomfield, Mich., privately owned Plum Market Kitchen has strategically positioned itself to provide grab-and-go prepared foods to people on the move—at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center and multiple university campuses, including Oakland, Northwestern and Butler.

New Plum Market Kitchen locations slated to open this year are underway in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. The retailer’s website indicates that its Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport location is “coming soon."
