Pet medications now available at retailer's Florida locations. Pet medications can now be filled at the retailer’s locations in Florida.

Publix Pharmacy is now filling prescriptions for pet medications in Florida. Available medications include treatments for common conditions, such as allergies, arthritis, bronchitis, motion sickness, dry eyes, seizures and heartworm, flea and tick.

Medications ordered Sunday through Friday will be available for next day pickup. Prescriptions—except those requiring refrigeration—are also available for home delivery through ScriptDrop for orders within a 5-mile radius of the pharmacy for a $5 fee. Customers who receive a text message when prescriptions are ready will receive a link to prepay for their prescriptions and choose delivery.

Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix operates 1,251 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
