In an effort to make the shopping experience more convenient, Raley’s Supermarkets has partnered with mobile pharmacy platform mscripts to launch its new pharmacy app, RxRefill On-the-Go.

The new tool is designed to reduce shoppers’ time spent waiting in lines and provides a streamlined application where customers can manage medications for themselves and family members from a single account. The digital platform offers text notifications when a prescription is ready for pickup and when a refill is due to be ordered, as well as status updates and prescription history.

“Offering a convenient mobile pharmacy application delivers on our customer promise to make shopping easier and more accessible,” Raley’s Director of Pharmacy Dave Fluitt said in a statement. “Our new pharmacy application will allow our customers to save time and gain access to their health information with confidence and convenience.”

In addition to providing convenience, Raley’s new pharmacy app aims to encourage behaviors that improve health by offering customers improved access to their prescription information. Customers can store their doctors’ information; get driving directions and store hours for the nearest Raley’s, Bel Air Market or Nob Hill Foods pharmacy; manage their prescriptions; and even order refills directly on their mobile phones via the RxRefill On-the-Go app.

To make transitioning to the new app easy, customers can also move their prescriptions from other pharmacies to a Raley’s, Bel Air Market or Nob Hill Foods pharmacy via the app.

“Mscripts is thrilled to partner with Raley’s to deliver an easy-to-use mobile and web health management platform,” said Mark Cullen, CEO of mscripts. “Raley’s customers will benefit from the convenience, improved adherence and more control over their health.”

Raley’s RxRefill On-the-Go app is available for download via the Apple Store and Google Play. Customers must create a new account online, which is separate from accounts used for Raley’s Something Extra rewards program.
