Redner’s Markets, which operates 44 grocery stores and 21 convenience stores throughout eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, is commemorating its 50th anniversary with a series of deals and promotions to mark the occasion.

Beginning this week and running throughout 2020, the regional chain will feature special pricing and enhanced Redner’s Rewards offers, along with a variety of free products and events.

“This is a remarkable milestone for our family, employee owners and the guests who have supported us for 50 years,” said Ryan Redner, president and CEO for the Reading, Pa.-based employee-owned company. “We wanted to take this occasion to say thank you and have created promotions that will offer our guests some remarkable savings. To celebrate 50 years in business, built on the foundation of treating people the right way and seeing it flourishing today, is a testament to our grandfather and grandmother, Earl and Mary Redner, as visionaries who were ahead of their time.”

Now through April 1, the special deals, pricing and rewards offers, which the company said will change on a daily and weekly basis, have been styled to celebrate the 50th anniversary by prominently featuring 50-cent items, 50% off prices, free items, double rewards and 5% donations to nonprofit organizations through its Save-a-Tape program.

Redner’s will release details about promotions, events and activities through its print, social and digital channels. Shoppers can also keep abreast of the deals via rednersmarkets.com/anniversary or on its Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages.
