Schnucks Expands Curbside Pickup, Loyalty Program

Schnuck Markets is expanding its curbside pickup program and will now offer its loyalty customers points on all delivery and pickup orders.
The retailer first launched its Schnucks Delivers curbside pickup service, which is run through Instacart, at four stores in late 2018, and will now make it available at 30 stores in St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Evansville, Ind.
Shoppers participating in the loyalty program will earn 10 points for every dollar spent on delivery or pickup, receiving $2 off groceries once they earn 1,000 points. While pickup and delivery purchases will now count toward loyalty points, the rewards can only be redeemed in-store.
Ryan Cuba, Schnucks' chief business development and transformation officer, said with shoppers looking for ways the maximize their time, the service offers them the “convenience of someone else taking the time to do their grocery shopping for them.”
“With curbside pickup, our customers can get their full grocery order without ever having to leave their vehicle and they can quickly resume their day,” he said.
