For the third consecutive year, Wegmans has ranked highest in customer satisfaction among supermarket pharmacies in J.D. Power’s 2020 U.S. Pharmacy Study, based on responses from 13,378 pharmacy customers who filled a prescription from June 2019 to May 2020.

The Rochester, N.Y.-based retailer, which has 103 supermarkets in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts and North Carolina, received a score of 904 based on a 1,000-point scale.

“This recognition is a direct result of the care and dedication that our pharmacy employees provide to their customers every day,” John Carlo, SVP of pharmacy, said in a release.

Conducted by Costa Mesa, Calif.-based market research firm J.D. Power, the 2020 U.S. Pharmacy Study, now in its 12th year, measures customer satisfaction among all categories of brick-and-mortar pharmacies, including chain drugstores, mass merchants and supermarkets, as well as mail-order pharmacies.
