Whole Foods Market has reprised its annual 12 Days of Cheese this holiday season, an event that highlights a different artisanal cheese each day from Dec. 12 through Dec. 23 and offers it at a generous discount.

Included in this year’s deep-discount dive are artisanal varieties such as World Cheese Award winner Rogue Creamery of Oregon. Each selected cheese is 50% off for one day during the 12-day period.

“Our team is thrilled for the return of 12 Days of Cheese because we have the opportunity to showcase some truly delicious, diverse and innovative cheeses at an incredible value,” Cathy Strange, VP of specialty product innovation and development for Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods, said in a statement. “The list of 12 cheeses that we’ve curated includes a few award-winning cheeses and a few exclusive cheeses you can only get at your local Whole Foods Market.”

Featured cheeses include Roth Pavino, exclusive to Whole Foods; Istara P’tit Basque; America’s most awarded cheese, Uplands Cheese Pleasant Ridge Reserve; Neal’s Yard Dairy Keen’s Cheddar; Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog; Emmi Cave Aged Le Gruyere; Sweet Grass Dairy Thomasville Tomme; the Spanish exclusive to Whole Foods Mitica Cordobes; Rogue Creamery Oregon Blue; Klare Melk Truffle Gouda; Cellars at Jasper Hill Harbison with Prosecco; and MonS Mary dans les Etoiles, also exclusive to Whole Foods.

These distinctive cheeses were chosen by Whole Foods’ global experts in collaboration with the company’s in-store Certified Cheese Professionals, a group of 386 team members who are certified by the American Cheese Society for their expertise. More than 51% of Certified Cheese Professionals worldwide come from Whole Foods Market.

Whole Foods Market’s team of in-store Certified Cheese Professionals and cheesemongers are available to answer shoppers’ questions, suggest beverage pairings and offer cheese board-building tips. Prime members get an additional 10% off the discounted price of each day of cheese.
