While the world may seem like it’s turned upside down, cheese is still a favorite and National Cheese Day on June 4 must still go on. The "State of Cheese," Wisconsin, (The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin/Wisconsin Cheese) is hosting the World’s Largest Cheese Party, a virtual event on Zoom starting at 8 p.m. ET on  June 4. It will last about an hour.

The first 500 registrants (within two hours of registration opening) will receive a complimentary box of Wisconsin cheese from award winning makers, including Anderson International Foods, Brunkow Cheese of Wisconsin, Buholzer Brothers, Cello, Yellow Door Creamery, Crave Brothers Farmstead, Maple Leaf Cheese, Nasonville Dairy, Ponderosa Dairy Products and Roth.

Capacity for the event is capped at 1,000, but for the lucky few, they will be treated to door prizes, surprise guests, trivia and a cheese tasting Q&A with master cheesemakers.
