MODESTO, Calif. — In new television ads, Save Mart Supermarkets calls attention to its local, fresh food offerings.

“Californians love their avocados, and no one sells more than Save Mart because here fresh comes first,” one Save Mart ad says, later referring to Save Mart’s produce department as an indoor farmers' market.

Save Mart highlights the farm to fork supply chain with another ad that flashes between a mother cooking with fruit and vegetables in a kitchen and those same fruit and vegetables being picked in fields.

Save Mart also boasts of its partnership with Driscoll’s Berries in another ad, noting the retailer gets first pick of the berries.
