Plant-based product developed to taste like mozzarella cheese

Cheese maker Bel Brands USA is adding Babybel Plant-Based to its profile of dairy-free offerings, which also includes Boursin Dairy-Free and Bel's wholly-plant-based product line, Nurishh. Babybel Plant-Based has a soft and creamy texture, the company says, and is developed to taste like mozzarella cheese. Instead of Babybel's signature red wax coating, Babybel Plant-Based has a green wrapping for easy identification. The snack is Non-GMO Project verified and certified vegan.
