Darrell Lea has removed all palm oil from its licorice products. After testing 200 individual ingredients, the company has decided on sunflower oil as an ethical, environmentally conscious replacement. All products produced after September 2020, including classic, allsorts, twists and sugar-free licorice, will be 100% palm oil-free. Darell Lea will be redesigning its packaging to reflect this change with a new ingredient listing and palm oil-free logo.
