SmartSweets enters a new category of traditional confection with the launch of SmartSweets Caramels, its first-ever non-fruity innovation. SmartSweets Caramels are formulated with 94% less sugar than other soft caramels, the supplier says, and contain a single gram of sugar per bag. The launch follows on the recent debut of its SmartSweets Jolly Gems hard candy debut.
