Whole Foods Debuts Shot Bar

YONKERS, N.Y. — A Whole Foods store here will kick off the new year by giving out free shots during Fridays in January. Healthy beverage shots, that is.

The fresh ginger shots are topped with cayenne pepper and a slice of orange to “wash it down.”

The shots will be offered every Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the store’s Healthy Eating Kiosk.

“Introducing our new Shot Bar — fresh healthy shots at the Healthy Eating Kiosk every Friday in January,” the retailer states in promotional materials.
