BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said it is encouraging customers to create and post "Colorful Harvest" recipes on Pinterest boards to qualify to win one of three prizes.

To participate, consumers must create a Pinterest board called "Colorful Harvest" at Pinterest.com, then pin three recipes each from the websites of McCormick, Fisher Nuts and Albertsons itself and describe what they like most about each recipe before submitting the items to a contest website.

The grand prize winner will win a $2,000 gift card to Albertsons Market; the second-place winner will get a $1,000 gift card; and the third-place winner will get a $500 gift card. The contest ends Dec. 7, with winners announced on Dec. 18.

According to Elizabeth Perryman, digital content manager, "Hosting a contest that encourages customers to create an amazing Pinterest recipe box and reward them for great recipe collections will be a fun way to celebrate what we love about the holidays — food.

"Our first Pinteret contest, which celebrated the 'timeless women' in all of our lives, was enthusiastically received, and we already know from our own Pinterest boards that our customers love sharing recipes."
