Giant Offers Special Fuel Rewards on Gift Card Purchases

LANDOVER, Md. — Giant Food is offering shoppers four times the fuel rewards on gift cards purchased through Dec. 5.

The Giant Gas Rewards Program allows shoppers to earn one point for every dollar spent at Giant on purchases when they when they use their Giant Card. For every 100 points earned, shoppers receive 10 cents off per gallon, up to $2.20 per gallon, at local participating Shell stations. Fuel discounts must be redeemed within 30 days from the date of purchase.

As part of the holiday promotion, four points will be earned per dollar spent on gift cards, excluding Giant gift cards.

“Allowing consumers to save up to $2.20 per gallon per transaction means they can really make the most of their purchases at Giant during the holidays and beyond,” said Jamie Miller, manager, public and community relations at Giant Food of Landover, in a statement.
