ST. PAUL, Minn. — Kowalski’s Markets’ Boo Bash, a Halloween event for kids, attracts bigger crowds each year, officials said.
All nine Kowalski’s units participated on the same evening this week, and kids — with parents in tow — numbered anywhere from hundreds to 1,000 per store. Indeed, the flagship Woodbury store “treated” more than a thousand children.
“We had some very nice things, some contributed by vendors, at the treat stations,” Woodbury assistant store manager Dan Leitner told SN.
As kids proceeded to 13 stations in different departments, they were given cookies from the in-store bakery, chocolate milk, apples, even some small toys and videos. Parents got a coupon for a free Kowalski’s brand frozen pizza, with any $10 purchase.
