MONTVALE, N.J. — Jennifer MacLeod has left A&P here as senior vice president, marketing and communications, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Monday. In the filing, A&P said the company and MacLeod had “mutually agreed” that she would leave to pursue other opportunities.

MacLeod joined A&P in 2005 and was responsible for marketing; advertising and promotion; internal communications; and public affairs, including media, community and government relations. Before joining A&P, she was vice president of marketing and public relations for Co-op Atlantic, a retailer based in New Brunswick, Canada.

Tom Dahlen, an operating partner at A&P investor Yucaipa, and Rebecca Philbert, senior vice president, merchandising and supply & logistics, A&P, will oversee A&P's marketing function on an interim basis, a spokeswoman for A&P told SN.
