JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Publix Super Markets has agreed to a five-year sponsorship of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the National Football League team said on Saturday.

The centerpiece of the Jaguars’ partnership with Publix will be a tailgating platform in which Jaguars fans will have the opportunity to participate in tailgating experiences at Jaguars games and in-store promotions at Publix. It also includes radio tie-ins and other events at games and in Publix stores, and sponsorship of weekly tailgating recipes on Jaguars.com and signs inside and outside of EverBank Field.

In addition, the Jaguars, Publix and other partners will seek to provide hunger relief during the holiday season.

“The Jacksonville Jaguars are iconic, have a great reputation and a loyal fan base in the wonderful Jacksonville community and across the nation,” said Publix Super Markets Jacksonville Division Vice President Scott Brubaker in a statement. “We are eager to forge a meaningful and beneficial working relationship with the Jaguars organization and partner in worthwhile community efforts.”
