ST. LOUIS Schnuck Markets has changed the distribution of its popular “Schnupon” coupons by texting several coupons each Monday, instead of sending one each day of the week.

“This change has been requested over and over the last couple of months,” Schnucks writes on its Facebook page.

Launched in March, Schnupons are rich-media mobile coupons delivered exclusively to those who text the word “Schnucks” to 223344. Offers have included 75 cents off Claussen pickles; $1 off Velveeta cheese; and Orchard 64-ounce juice, buy-one, get-one free.

Prior to the change, a new Schnupon was texted every day and was valid for three days. Now, all coupons will be texted on Monday and will be valid for one week.

“It will give you more time to get to the store to use,” according to the Schnucks Facebook post.
