WASHINGTON — The Can Manufacturers Institute will kickoff a multi-year marketing campaign next month designed promote the benefits of cooking with canned foods.

“Cans Get You Cooking” launches Feb. 1 to coincide with National Canned Food Month.

The CMI will partner with ABC’s The CHEW, a daytime food talk show, to help kick-off the campaign. The partnership will include a significant online, digital and social media presence on ABC.com in February, as well as a co-branded consumer contest that offers viewers the opportunity to share their favorite canned food recipes for the chance to attend a taping of The CHEW in New York City.
