DAYTON, Ohio — Dorothy Lane Market has teamed with a Canadian lobster organization to offer shoppers an overseas culinary vacation.

The tour will visit the Lobster Lovers Academy, a nonprofit organization that educates seafood buyers all over the world on sustainability and responsible business practices.

The trip includes three nights lodging June 7–10, 2012, in St. Andrews, New Brunswick; gourmet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with all the lobster you can eat; and excursions and demonstrations.

Attendees will take part in a series of interactive lectures from North American lobster experts, hoist lobster traps aboard a working lobster boat, take cooking classes and eat lunch at the famous Lobster Shack.

“Catch, cook and eat lobster,” Dorothy Lane states in promotional materials.

The cost is $999 per person double occupancy, plus airfare.
