After all the publicity, everyone knows that food trucks are dominating the streets of major cities and creating some uncomfortable competition for supermarkets and restaurants.

But is the concept going to the dogs? It is in Sacramento at the Good Stuff Pet Truck, where owners can bring their pets to the doggy lounge, sample some of the treats and even get an obedience lesson—the dogs not the people!

The truck, which is starting a national tour, is stocked with healthy treats and gourmet dog food and is also offering pet parents advice for overweight dogs who may be subject to Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and cancer. In fact, the Good Stuff truck is sponsored by the American Pet Nutrition, the manufacturer of Vita Bone products' Supreme Source pet food.
