H-E-B will kick off its Texas Best contest, to find unique grocery items from local suppliers, with a Super Bowl commercial starring former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman, according to reports.

The ad is estimated to reach about 4 million viewers in the retailer's operating areas Sunday.

Texas-based food and beverage suppliers can enter the contest by submitting product details at heb.com/quest, beginning Wednesday. The top prize is $25,000, with the winning product gaining recognition as an H-E-B Primo Pick. The term is used for new and exclusive items sold at the San Antonio-based chain.
