SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Hannaford Bros. has launched its annual “Buy & Save” private-label promotion.
Shoppers get a $1 checkout coupon for every Hannaford and “My Essentials” brand product they buy in the same order. The promotion kicked off Oct. 23 and runs through Nov. 12.
The coupon can be used on the next shopping trip. The maximum reward is $10 per transaction. This promotion includes all Hannaford and My Essentials brand products, except variable-weight meat, produce, seafood, bakery and deli items.
My Essentials is a new corporate brand Hannaford parent Delhaize America launched at its Hannaford, Food Lion, Harvey’s, Bloom and Sweetbay banners. The brand encompasses over 500 staple items priced comparably to private labels at Wal-Mart Stores, Target and Aldi. Items in the line are free of trans fat with limits on sugar and sodium.
