IGA Golf Tournament to Benefit Wounded Warriors

CHICAGO — IGA here said it plans to host a golf tournament to raise funds for the Wounded Warriors Project.

CHICAGO — IGA here said it plans to host a golf tournament to raise funds for the Wounded Warriors Project.

The event is scheduled for Monday, June 11, at he a golf course in Cantigny Park, located in Wheaton, Ill. The Wounded Warriors Project is designed to raise funds and awareness for wounded service men and women.

The day-long tournament will end with a dinner at which Andrew Music, a spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project, is scheduled to speak. IGA said several military veterans will join golfers during the day.

Cantigny Park is also home to the First Division Museum, which was established after World War I by Col. Robert R. McCormick, publisher of the Chicago Tribune, to honor military veterans.
