Grocery leaders focused on store operations might want to plan to attend the Store Operations Summit, an event in the National Grocers Association’s Engage Series, taking place July 24-26, at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown in Kansas City, Mo.

Registration is open for the summit, designed for store leaders who are focused on store operations and merchandising and have core responsibilities aimed at growing the bottom line for their business.

Heading up the Summit’s roster of presenters is Harold Lloyd, who has presented at previous sessions in Cincinnati and Salt Lake City. With decades of experience as a retailer, author, observer, adviser, and presenter, Lloyd delivers tailored presentations designed to change attitudes and elevate performance.

“Our lessons for success will be driven by the 12 Ps, each focusing on a different aspect of store operations and offering important actionable takeaways,” Lloyd said. “Each builds toward the ultimate goal of sustainable profitability for the store operator.”

Topics covered include marketplace positioning, remodeling strategies, product assortment, promotions, property management, operating systems, and customer loyalty.

Deadline to register for the summit is July 25. Registration and more information can be found here: https://web.cvent.com/event/6df1544e-9027-4a3d-8830-110f046edfa7/summary?RefId=ENGAGESTOREOPS
