Retailers are bragging on social media about being named the “best” or “favorite” by local shoppers.

Readers of the Albany Times Union voted Price Chopper Supermarkets the “best supermarket” in New York’s Capital Region.

Rouses earned “best grocery store” and “2nd best wine shop” from readers of The (Acadiana) Advertiser in Louisiana.

In a readers’ choice poll in Sauce Magazine, a St. Louis culinary publication, Dierbergs Markets scored honors for “favorite grocery store” and “favorite cooking class.”

For the fourth year running, readers of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser named Foodland “Hawaii’s best grocery store.” To celebrate, the retailer offered customers a chance to earn bonus Hawaiian Airlines frequent flyer miles.
