PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway has increased purchase limits of its so-called “Super Price Coupons.”
Super Price Coupons are offers in the weekly circular that can be cut out and presented at checkout for extra savings. Four Super Price coupons are typically offered each week.
Prior to the week of Aug. 17, each coupon had a one-item limit. Now, while some coupons still have a one-item limit, others allow two, three or more items, according to the Safeway blog.
This week, for instance, shoppers can get three Febreze Air Effects air freshener for $2.49 each, a 50-cent savings from the regular in-store price. And last week, the Super Price Coupon for Safeway Trash Bags, 20-30 count, had a limit of four; and StarKist Canned Tuna, a limit of three.
“Horray! Now we can get even more value with the Super Price Coupons,” the Safeway blog reads.
