Revionics Acquires Space Optimization Provider

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Revionics here, a provider of price optimization systems, announced it has acquired the business and related assets of Retail Optimization, New Haven, Conn., a provider of cloud-based assortment and space optimization systems.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Revionics here, a provider of price optimization systems, announced it has acquired the business and related assets of Retail Optimization, New Haven, Conn., a provider of cloud-based assortment and space optimization systems. Terms were not disclosed.

According to its website, Revionics’ grocery customers include Big Y, Rouse’s, Marsh, Lowes Foods, Family Dollar and Strack & Van Til. Retail Optimization’s website lists its grocery customers as including Supervalu, Ahold, Giant Eagle, Ralphs and ShopRite.

According to the announcement, the combined applications of the two companies will help retailers break down “merchandising organizational siloes and improve demand forecasting to better meet shopper needs.”
