Pure Protein, makers of protein-fortified bars, snacks, drinks and powders launched its newest innovation, Pure Protein Super Food protein powder. A complete, vegan protein blend, Pure Protein Super Food is available in three flavors, Dark Cocoa, Vanilla Bean and Mixed Berry Super Fruits, each offering 20 grams of protein (per serving) from 100 percent plant-based sources.

Pure Protein Super Food is vegan, non-GMO, contains naturally sourced super greens, no soy or dairy, and is free of artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners. Each flavor contains 140-160 calories, five grams or less of sugar, and 20 grams of plant-based complete protein, providing the essential amino acids for lean muscle and strength. Early this year, Pure Protein Super Food was recognized for its taste as both the Vanilla Bean and Mixed Berry Super Fruits flavors were awarded the American Masters of Taste 'SUPERIOR TASTE Gold Medal Seal.'

"With the rise in popularity of plant-based nutrition, we recognize that our consumers are looking for convenient ways to add more protein while also trying to incorporate more fruits, vegetables and greens into their diet," says Derek Bowen, chief marketing officer, The Nature's Bounty Co. (makers of Pure Protein line of products). "We're excited to add Pure Protein Super Food to our portfolio, fulfilling the need for a complete, high-quality protein with the same great taste one can expect from the entire Pure Protein product line. We believe the taste of our plant-based protein product sets us apart from the other plant protein offerings on the market – simply put, Pure Protein Super Food is super delicious!"

Pure Protein Super Food is currently available online on Amazon.com and, beginning this month, at select retailers nationwide including Kroger, Meijer, Food Lion & H-E-B.

In conjunction with the launch of the Super Food product, Pure Protein recently debuted a new marketing campaign showcasing the brand's belief that fitness is an all-encompassing lifestyle choice - an ongoing cycle in which a single good, smart choice can lead to a better one. The campaign will feature both Pure Protein's baseline (original) protein bars as well as the new Super Food product. The first video in the campaign - entitled "Cycle" - is currently live on YouTube and Pure Protein's social channels. The campaign will be supported with paid support across multiple social and digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
