Retailers among SN's Expo West summit panelists

Executives from Bashas', Coborn’s, Lazy Acres and Northgate Gonzalez Market will be among the speakers at a half-day education and networking summit sponsored by SN at next month's Expo West.

The SN Health & Wellness Summit is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, during Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, Calif. The summit is sponsored by Enjoy Life Foods.

Scheduled speakers include Roxanne Lord, director of health and wellness initiatives, Bashas'; Rhonda Siltman, category manager for natural and organics, at Coborn’s; Vic Sohagi, president of Lazy Acres Market; and Alfonso Cano, produce director for Northgate Gonzalez.

Other participants will include Scott Silverman, VP, growth solutions, for KeHe Distributors; Eric Pierce, director of strategy and insights, for NEXT at New Hope Natural Media, Boulder, Colo.; Todd MacGrath, director of conventional accounts, Presence Marketing; Annie Geile, director of client management for LabelINSIGHT; and Phil Lempert, the Supermarket Guru and SN contributing editor.

Sessions will focus on leveraging wellness strategies across different retail food channels, best practices for in-store health and wellness merchandising and key wellness trends in mainstream retail. In addition, the sessions will look at how natural foods suppliers can grow their brands at supermarkets and insights on which new health and wellness products are most likely to succeed.
