What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I am surrounded by an amazing team. Waking up each day to see the great results our team drives for our farmer owners is both rewarding and inspiring. There is no better feeling than seeing a project your team worked on sitting in dairies, delis and bakeries across the country.
What inspires your leadership approach?
My faith, along with a deep commitment to being open and honest with every person I work with. Our company uses a phrase “All Together Better,” and I couldn’t agree more. Together what we do is so much better than what we can accomplish on our own.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
The amazing people. I can’t believe I have been in this industry for 17 years already; it really goes by fast. Maybe it is because we have such great data, and we can really focus on the consumer, but even when a conversation gets tough with a retail partner, we have always been able to find a way to provide value to the end consumer and each other.
Favorite food?
A great steak with some butter on top.
