What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I love the bakery industry. The most rewarding aspect is the ability to marry my passion for baking with a career that supports my family. I have always loved baking and relish the ability to work on developing high-quality bakery products that delight consumers of all ages.
What inspires your leadership approach?
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be led and taught by inspired leaders, who have contributed to my growth and ultimately, to the success of my career. Building on the leadership skills that they have demonstrated, my approach is to ensure that everyone knows they are part of a team, and that each individual’s efforts lead to success. Respect and understanding go a long way to building a successful team.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
Knowing that my success comes from a team of skilled individuals working across different functions, mostly behind the scenes. I want to give them a huge thank you to them for all their efforts.
