Jewel, Shell Team on Fuel Rewards

CHICAGO — Jewel-Osco here on Thursday announced a partnership with Shell on a fuel rewards program to begin next week.

The program will allow shoppers who use their My Jewel-Osco Rewards Card to earn Fuel Rewards savings, which may be redeemed at local participating Shell stations for fuel savings at the pump.

Stepping on the Gas for Fuel Rewards

For every $50 spent in qualified purchases at participating Jewel-Osco stores, consumers can earn a savings of 5 cents per gallon on fuel that is redeemable on a single fill-up, up to 20 gallons at any one of more than 350 local participating Shell stations.

The program is run through Excentus Corp., which said it would announce an expanded rewards program at Shell including the Jewel partnership, later this year. Jewel is a division of Supervalu, Minneapolis.
