CINCINNATI — Kroger and Nestle Purina PetCare have launched a co-branded online community where shoppers can share photos of and stories about their pets.

Pet owners can access “Joyful Pet Moments” by clicking on a link on all Kroger banner websites.

“Does your cat wake you up in the morning with a special purr? We want to know how your pet brings joy to your every day,” Kroger writes in promotional materials.

All stories and photos will be added to the site’s “Featured Moments” gallery.

Visitors can also enter a sweepstakes to win a free Purina pet product (up to $2). All winners will get a coupon uploaded to their loyalty card. There is a limit of seven free Purina-brand products per person. All coupons expire on Aug. 28.

In lieu of the free Purina product, winners can elect to have Purina make a $1 donation to an animal welfare organization in their area.
