Nidiffer Named C&K Chairman; Sandeno CEO
BROOKINGS, Ore. — C&K Market here said Thursday Doug Nidiffer will retire as president and chief executive officer after 15 years and assume the new role of chairman of the board, effective May 1.

BROOKINGS, Ore. — C&K Market here said Thursday Doug Nidiffer will retire as president and chief executive officer after 15 years and assume the new role of chairman of the board, effective May 1.
The son of founders Ray and June Nidiffer, he will advise the company on future growth strategies. Succeeding him will be Greg Sandeno, who is currently vice president and chief operating officer.
Sandeno, who has been with C&K since 2005, previously worked for Nash Finch Co. and the Fred Meyer division of Kroger Co.
C&K operators 62 supermarkets and 13 free-standing pharmacies.
In other changes:
• Alan Nidiffer, vice present and chief information officer, will become executive vice president and CIO while continuing as corporate secretary/treasurer.
• Elizabeth Bauer, vice president, chief financial officer and general counsel, will become executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer and general counsel, adding oversight for all pharmacy operations.
• Terry Spencer, senior director of perishables, will become vice president, merchandising and marketing, with responsibilities for procurement and marketing initiatives.
• Rocky Campbell, senior director of operations, will become vice president, operations, with responsibilities for all store operations, store operational support, loss prevention and pricing.
