Publix Names Mitchell Director of Government Relations

LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets this week said Michael Mitchell has been named the company’s new director of government relations.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets this week said Michael Mitchell has been named the company’s new director of government relations. Mitchell most recently served a similar role for UST Public Affairs in Atlanta.

At Publix, Mitchell takes over lobbying and governmental affairs from Clayton Hollis, a company vice president who was handling those duties on an interim basis following the sudden death of Randy Roberts a year ago.
