Supervalu Names Two New Executives

MINNEAPOLIS — Supervalu said Tuesday it has added two new executives: Chuck Elias was named group vice president, strategic planning, and Keith Wyche was named president of the Cub Foods chain.

Elias has more than 20 years’ experience in operations in strategic management and has held leadership positions at Home Depot and General Electric, Supervalu said in a conference call with analysts Tuesday. Wyche most recently led U.S. operations for Pitney Management Services.

As previously reported, Supervalu this week said also it has hired Kraft Foods veteran Steve Jungmann as executive vice president of merchandising.
