Wegmans to Host Back-to-School Event

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans here is hoping to teach shoppers a thing or two about healthy eating on a budget during its chainwide Back to School event, scheduled to take place in all locations on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. “Stop by our store and see how we can help you make the transition from summer to fall easier,” Wegmans says on its website. “You’ll get tips and ideas for healthy and reasonably priced meals and snacks at stations in many departments along with a taste of what we’re recommending.” Wegmans’ meal stations, Nature’s Marketplace, bakery, deli, produce, frozen, grocery and general-merchandise departments will distribute tips and samples.
