Weis Taps Foot Locker Veteran as Controller

SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets on Wednesday said it has named Paul M. Stombaugh, corporate controller. He succeeds Scott Frost, who was named vice president and chief financial officer last October.

Prior joining Weis Markets, Stombaugh worked in Foot Locker's financial center in Harrisburg, Pa., as director of finance – accounts payable / accounts receivable. At Weis Markets Stombaugh will oversee the company's accounting department including: accounts payable and receivable, store accounting, payroll and external reporting.

Stombaugh will also oversee the company's internal controls and treasury function and assist in the development of budgets.
