AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market will attempt to break its own world record for “Most Parmigiano Reggiano Wheels Cracked Simultaneously.”

On Saturday, April 16, at exactly 3 p.m. EST, cheesemongers at Whole Foods stores throughout the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom will simultaneously crack 372 85-pound wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano, the company announced on its official “Whole Story” blog.

Whole Foods set the original world record in 2008, cracking nearly 300 wheels in 176 stores. The company has since turned the stunt into an annual event featuring Parmigiano Reggiano samples, recipe demos and wine and beer tastings.
