Winsight Grocery Business and the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance have announced the launch of a premiere joint event, the Retail Dietitian Exchange.

The event will take place May 20-22, at McCormick Place in Chicago during the National Confectioners Association’s Sweets and Snacks Expo

The Retail Dietitian Exchange will feature the industry’s preeminent thought leaders, RDBA’s board members, panels from the nation’s largest retailers, and insights from RDBA founder and CEO Phil Lempert. The RDBA is the premier professional group dedicated exclusively to dietitians who work in a retail setting.

“The interactive event will be the first of its kind for Winsight Grocery Business,” Jeff Friedman, EVP of grocery for Winsight Media, said. “We’re thrilled to partner with RDBA and the NCA to deliver a must-attend event for RDs that will not only offer proprietary content, but also forward-thinking community dialogue.”

“RDBA strives to offer its members the most important tools to further their careers, and we are thrilled to be working with Winsight to expand our educational platform to include this one-of-a-kind conference," added Lempert. "Unlike other conferences, we will be offering RD-focused insights on the latest trends, including cellular agriculture, cannabis, blockchain technologies and indoor farming."

The event will feature some of the most notable speakers in the industry, along with a special presentation from RDBA Executive Director Annette Maggi on the current state of the retail dietetics industry.

“The Retail Dietitian Exchange offers these professionals the latest in the business of retailing including trends, merchandising, working with suppliers and more,” said Lempert.

Registration and sponsorship opportunities for the Retail Dietitian Exchange are now open for the event and can be viewed here.
